so, i'm finally starting my own mame cabinet project. ordered all my controls from happ, and i'll be picking up my wood this weekend. i hope i can make mine as nice your guys'.

Going scratch built from the start eh?  go for it man :D--good luck and don't cut your fingers off--those combo moves can be a real bugger with only a pinky and index finger left! ;D  What style/plans are you using?  post some details iin the project announcement section.

ah, thanks. i guess i didn't see that section. mods can move this if they feel led.

yeah, i'm starting from scratch. i figured it's the best way because i want it to be my very own. it's going to be fairly custom with hints taken from different places. the basic shape will be from the defender, for the most part. i'll definitely be documenting each step.
