Short Stem vs Long Stem IL Pushbuttons
« on: December 16, 2016, 12:41:33 pm »
So I'm going to use IL concave pushbuttons for my control panel. I have always used the long stem version (model IL-PSL-L/W) but am curious about the short stem model (IL-PSL-H). Someone in this thread cautioned against them, which I'm guessing is because of the spring. A reviewer on Focus Attack's website mentioned that IL uses the same spring in the short stem model as they do in the long stem version, which increases the tension and makes them more difficult to press. Is there anyone that has had a side-by-side comparison with both of these models, or can anyone speak to the quality of the short stem model? Thanks in advance!
