Power Supply Feed Through

Hi Everyone,
I am trying to power a small picade and I do not want cables hanging out. I installed the following feed through, but it does not seem to be working.
http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Conxall-Switchcraft/DCP-USBCB-F/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMulM8LPOQ%2byk0tOUVtDtVQ0nKHI1Dv0x0iuv%2bnibBZDtw%3D%3D
I have tested the feed through and cables on my phone, also not working. I tested on a usb battery pack and the battery was showing that it was charging. I don't know why it is not working for the Pi or my phone but will flash charging for the battery pack. Would the feed through be limiting the power supply in some way?
Does anyone have another idea for putting a feed through on a picade?

Do you have a multimeter? If not, go buy one. You will use it often.

I do not. How would I use it, touch pins 1 and 5 on the usb micro out on the feed through?
