Aimtrak Issues -- Solved
« on: December 11, 2016, 12:34:37 pm »
Anyone have this issue with an Aimtrak?

I calibrate, and it seems to work top left, top right, and bottom center.. however when calibration is done the cursor gets locked to the left hand side of the screen and won't move.  Vertical tracking is fine.

Any ideas?

First of all, sorry about the horrible title/content.. Autocorrect went insane and I didn't notice it.

However, I found the issue.  I installed the configuration utility and looked at the Senior View Check tab as I moved the lightgun across the screen.  I pointed to the top right corner where I was aiming for calibration and saw the sensor could no longer see anything... so it wasn't getting a valid X value.  By stepping back a half-stride I was able to calibrate effectively.
