Frontend not loading Mame's game resolution ini files
« on: December 07, 2016, 12:46:10 pm »
I've asked this question in the frontend's forum but so far no one seems to know the answer. Thought maybe someone here mightve had the same experience..

Ive got an ini folder with loads of native resolutions for hundreds of Mame games and that folder is placed in Mames folder. When I start Mame up directly from the mame.exe it will load the ini files for each game. When I go into the Attract Mode (frontend) Mame list (which is set up to start that same mame.exe file), it appears as though the ini files are not being loaded at all. Do I have to type a path somewhere in the frontend to get it to make mame work with those ini files? I wouldnt think that would be the case...Or maybe I have to add all of those ini resolutions into the actual mame.ini? That would suck.
I'm doing searches on this topic but so far have found nothing. I must be missing something obvious.

Thanks
