  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
NFS and Global VR Dongles
« on: December 01, 2016, 06:42:22 pm »
How can I tell if my dongle matches my software?  My disc are NFS Underground but my dongle is just marked NFS.  The recovery has gone to completion and the dongle lights but the game never starts.

Thanks,
mowerman

If you're still interested in getting an answer to this, you might try reposting it in the "Miscellaneous Arcade" subforum
lilshawn & ed post in that subforum regularly and are actual working techs.

Not sure how often they come by this subforum.

just do a google for "hasp" d/l excute
for refernce go to "pga-gobalvr" thread by stpcore
u will need to read through it
but it is easy
also as i have been lurking in the background (trust me stay in 1 thread or i will lose interest)
the card u speak of is 8bit not 10
2 upper bytes are set aside as control (u could call it 10) but in real time it is 8
next the track ball is the olny alnog input to the card it needs to handle
the rest are seen as a digital switch.
so back to the track ball and questions u asked
up=1
down =1
left = 1
right = 1
4 axis with twin movement +0
where 0=0 or ff
so as far as a gas pedal works on/off-+varable (like a trackball) (on board dac)
same goes for break pedal
no fbb is appiled and or thought of
