Multi-mouse enumeration problem
« on: October 25, 2016, 08:57:03 pm »
Hi all, I've got a problem with my new build that also plagued my old build and I'm looking for advice on how to resolve.
Every time I power on the cab my mice get enumerated randomly (i.e. sometimes the trackball is mouse1, sometimes mouse2 and sometimes mouse3) meaning that the controls for a particular trackball game need to be updated before its playable.
My setup is 1 trackball connected through a new ipac2, 2 ggg turbotwist2 spinners connected to 1 usb (on x and y axes), and the wireless keyboard has a trackpad (which may be getting assigned as a mouse when it is switched on).
Any suggestions on how to get persistent enumeration or otherwise config such that it doesn't matter what enumeration they get?
