Electroluminescent Tape rather than LED T-molding

has anyone tried installing this EL tape? LED t-molding doesnt look too appealing as light isnt spread evenly whatsoever.
With this tape no T-slots obviously and maybe using hot glue or another adhesive but not sure how well it can bend around 90's. Kinda strange it uses a 9-volt battery for power. They have a bunch on ebay.. but mostly only could find .55" width. Cheap as well..
