New Barcade in town!
« on: July 08, 2016, 10:57:58 pm »
Becoming a bit of a popular thing in Ontario Canada laws have recently changed to allow serving alcohol in establishments like an arcade. I can't remember the exact details but we just had a place open here in Kingston called Barcadia so I went to check it out.  Lots of games friendly staff. Lots of brews on tap and all machines are only $0.25 to play.  It tools me about 2.5 hrs to get through my $10.  Also they had booths with old consoles set up. Jammed some Atari pacman and some n64 goldeneye for a while too.

This is awesome! I just checked, and the place is only 2 hours and 4 minutes from my house. I would love to take a short drive out there, one day, and visit the arcade.

Thanks for sharing!

I've never seen a Operation Wolf -> Terminator 2 conversion before.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

You caught that too eh. Thing I never would have picked up on until building my own

any more pix, specifically of the neogeo?  It almost looks like a cyberball conversion from the pic up there.

Sadly one side of the neogeo was on the fritz.   The other side was running bust a move.

Apparently Barcadia is a US chain. There are at least four in the South, each in a different state. This one is not part of the chain. Going by the main page, they have a Sky Shark. Someone should ask if they'd be willing to dump it or something, as the audio for that game in MAME isn't complete.
