Cocktail arcade questions
« on: June 27, 2016, 10:28:48 pm »
hi everyone.  ;D
a friend of mine was selling his cocktail arcade along with time pilot.

Since its a working one.......not like my other MKII project
i probably wont have much work to do on this one.
but just in case, is there a common problem to these machines that i need to be aware ?
everything seem to be working fine from what i saw.

also, there seem to have a variety of xxx-in-1 that works fine with this type of cab.
i was aiming for a 412-in-1 after reading some reviews here and there.

...and definetly need to get a nice marque to go under that glass.
too much games...not enough room...

As far as I know, the 412 in 1 is geared towards a horizontal screen.

The 412 is vertical, and it can be set to cocktail mode.

That cabinet will be wired for Konami and not Jamma. There are a bunch of nice a cheap vertical boards that swap right in it. I had a Time Pilot cocktail for several years and never felt like it needed anything more.

My bad.  I was thinking of my Pandoras Box 3...  which is actually 520 in 1...  which is horizontal.

Ignore me.

There is, however, really, best thing to do with this one is to add the second button and just concentrate on the vertical konami boards. Also, sometimes you can run into space issues in a cocktail with an adapter.
