Question for OSCAR Controls...
« on: June 13, 2002, 12:06:29 am »
Any plans to make the OSCAR driving control interface compatible with the Opti-Pac (using the 4 spinner connections I assume)?

Thanks,

- Cryo

Hi Cryo,

I just sent you an email.  Sorry for the delay, but I don't get a chance to visit the boards as much as I used to.  :)

Apologies for non-informative reply last time...  I took Cryo's post more as a personal question rather than a general request for info.

Since the SWC has been redesigned, it is now possible for it to be supplied with an Opti-PAC compatible optic board.  However, I currently don't have plans on offering this version as a standard configuration just yet.  This has nothing to do with it's functionality or design.  I have already supplied these upon special request to customers.

I'm looking at a couple of different things right now, and if I get favorable results, we may see another SWC (Opti-PAC compatible model) available as a standard product.  I don't have a target date yet for this model, but it is being worked on now.
