Here's one from my local CL.......explain this?

The button config is so it works for lefties and righties.  And it has a trackball.  Nothing to painfully unusual about it, TBH.

Vanilla 60-in-1 panel, although I would have included the third button because ... Gun Smoke.

I think he was wondering why the outer buttons are low instead of high.

  Outer buttons low:
   O X O
O          O

  Outer buttons high:
O          O
   O X O

Seems like the second arrangement would be more comfortable unless maybe you're playing with crossed wrists.   ;D

Looks kinda neat, probably plays fine.  Nobody cares about that layout crap except us, and none of us cared as children.

That's what I thought as well.  The joystick/button layout reminded me of the 1942 CP my Q*Bert had when I bought it.  Nice layout for lefties and righties.  They just scrunched it up a little and added a trackball.

Yeah what they said...

Of course the exposed mounting hardware is a little aggravating though acceptable.  But for cripes sake flush mount the trackball mounting plate.  Damn people buy a router.....

Also are those hinges? Those look like ass if I'm being honest.

Wooden CPs are unacceptable.

I think the scale of that cab, if anything, is what looks weird.

heh i like how he says 645 hd games then has the following games listed.

has a total of 645 hd games on it
including
Ms Pacman
Galaga
Frogger
Donkey Kong
Donkey Kong Junior
Donkey Kong 3
Simpsons
Punisher
WWF Superstars
X-Men
Street Fighter 2
X-Men vs Streetfighter
D & D
Ghost & Goblins
Metal Slug
1943
TMNT
Robocop
Final Fight

They used to use the term HD quite a lot back in the day, it only means high definition as people know.  It's only in recent years they have limited the term to just one specific resolution (1920 x 1080, or 1080p as it is known). That particular board i'm certain it has a vga connection and it only goes up to about 800x600.

I could see that expect HD  didnt start till everyone was using 1280x720 when 720p first appeared. even 480p and 576 is standard definition. fun fact north carolina had the first digital broadcast.
