That was about my thinking there.
I had no reason to knock the pi for this application as I am sure it can play the hell out of Qbert, however since there is something plainly better that isn't that much more money then that something (Mylstar) certainly should be considered.
And realistically it is better to look at the total cost of the build with pi, and the total cost of the build with the Mylstar.
Why not just spend another $100 on it and run Jrok's Mylstar board instead?
How is it "another $100"? The Jrok Mylstar is $225 by itself.
And the Pi, SD card, and Ipac runs about $125 +/- so an extra $100 buys the Jrok board instead of them !
