sound card most inputs!
« on: January 16, 2004, 09:37:09 pm »
Just curious but what sound card can handle the most drives? The sound blaster I use now only allowes for two inputs from my drives CD\DVD. I was really hoping for three or four. Is there a Y connection maybe? If so does anyone know were I might locate one. Thanks in advance.

I'd be damned surprised if you couldn't build your own y-cable... Just splice one together... I'm sure you can get a bunch of the cables from E-bay cheap and they play around with it...

I'mm curious, why so many?
Also nowadays you can set a lot of drive for playback directly through the PCI bus, without using a cable between the CD-ROM and the sound card.
