Audio Amplifier Suggestions

I have a pair of 4 ohm 3-way car speakers that I want to add to a cabinet.  I'm looking for a reasonably priced amp that can play music as well as video games.  Any suggestions?

Personally I didn't like the Lepai I bought for my home bookshelf speakers. Right channel always had noise coming through, possible bad pot.
I ended up getting this and making my own enclosure:

If you have any old car audio amps laying around, they run fine off a power supply like this:

Not using it in my cab, but used it to power an old Profile California amp in my workshop for a while.
It never got warm enough for the fan to kick on.

I wanted some volume on this, so I tried the 35w per channel version of the drok, but it wasn't quite right.  Only one of the channels worked and it was underpowered anyway.  I may use the one good channel on my bartop, since it has a flat sound that fits old school arcade games.  A single 35w channel for the bartop is fine.

I didn't mention in the original post that I have a sub for this set-up, because I thought I had an amp for it already.  However, I ended up going with a 2.1 channel amp that powers all three speakers.  Other than the fact that I had to connect with my inner Haruman and solder directly onto the board, I'm very happy with the amp.  It's got 50w per channel and then 100w for the sub.  I ordered the bluetooth version so that we can play music from our other devices even with the rest of the cabinet off.

i wouldn't say ANY. my sub amp is fused with a 300 amp fuse and draws a pretty consistent 200 on a hard pull. thank god for double aught wire.   

but yeah, that supply with 30 amps @12v will likely power any amp under 250 watts no problem. (obvious disclaimer is obvious and not all amps are created equal)

i've powered an old head unit and 100 watt amp with an old XT computer power supply before. i think the 12 volt rail was only 8 or 10 amps and did just fine...sounded great.

Ebay has these great DIY amp boards. They are small and work great. I've powered them off old laptop power supplies and they are perfect for driving speakers. I wood screw to a piece of scrap and mount it in a discreet location in the cab. They run on DC power, so you could use a wall wart, pc power supply or even an old laptop power supply.
