Please help me connect the "dots"
« on: April 25, 2016, 10:47:35 am »
Yes, I know there is a search function, but fragments of 10 threads put together are still too much for my brain...lol.

I am basically looking for the steps to take my controls to my Ipac, Ipac to computer, Computer to Maximus, Maximus to fun.....lol

I am missing a step somewhere and can't really figure it out. My controls work great when mapping them to each individual emulator, but when I launch Maximus, they won't work with each game. Some games I get one button (Like in Mame, Marge can jump and move in The Simpsons, but no other buttons work). I don't see a why to configure controls in Maximus. I do get to the configure screen, but there are no maps for the buttons (other than start, select, etc).  What am I supposed to do?

This is what I THINK I am supposed to do:

Wire up controls to Ipac (done)
Plug in Ipac to computer (done)
Configure the mapping for each emulator (?)
Configure mapping for Maximus (which again, gives me an issue)

Can someone in plain English write a dummy-proof guide to what steps need to be done and in what order. This really shouldn't be as difficult as it seems.  :banghead:

I just ordered a Xin-Mo instead as reading what I COULD find around here seems like the older Ipacs had issues with MA. Either way, I can use the Ipac for another project down the line.  :dunno
