Ultimarc trackball and spinner help

So I have a 4 player panel using a iPac ultimate for the inputs - my trackball and spinner have thier own UHID connections via USB

My spinner does nothing now... Originally I hooked it to the iPac ultimate in its designated pin spot... But all
It did was go up and down...

What gives? Help!!

The spinner works as a one axis mouse, so that is normal behavior.

Yes, just set mame to use the Y-axis.
