PAC Link, any review?
« on: April 04, 2016, 04:20:01 pm »
Hi Guys,

I have 2XU360 and an Ipac UIO. I would like to play Mame using Hyperspin and PC games like MK X. What do you think about the PacLink to do so?

Well, it won't work for me, it's only compatible with the Ipac 2.

You should be able to use the U360's by themselves as Direct Input devices, if that's what you are looking at.  It would seem odd to go from the switch inputs, to an interface board, then to a USB convertor.  Running it using the U360's USB, you might need something like xpadder for MAME, or just change MAME to use joystick inputs.

The problem isn't with emulators but with PC games. Mortal Kombat X is a good example. If anyone know how to do I will be very happy :)

fablog, what are you asking exactly?
I have PAClink adapters with an IPAC2 and so far I have been unable to get repeatable satisfactory results. They cannot be remapped, so in other words you will have to reconfigure your other emulators to match the PAClink adapters key characters. Currently my left joystick wont move left. I have tried other PAClink adapters too in case one was bad. Everything has to be powered down when connecting them, and they don't seem to play nice when the IPAC2 is connected to a PC unless the PC is powered down.

Check out Vjoy. It may do what you need. I can play any PC game using Vjoy.

Also here is something I plan to try in order to use Vjoy along with hyperspin. Check out this thread:

Thx I'll check this link. The Ipaclink isn't a solution for me anymore because it's incompatible with my Ipac UIO.
