Star Wars UR build help...
« on: April 02, 2016, 12:18:54 pm »
Hey guys,  I decided to try and build a replica Star Wars cabinet and could use some help.  The pieces have been cut by a CNC, but I am struggling to assemble and want to do it right.  Does anyone have a SW project cabinet around that maybe they can take some measurements/pictures of the internal blocking and the base?  Particularly how the wheels are mounted?  I have searched and found some pictures around the web, but any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Cj

There is a guy on KLOV restoring one of these as we speak. You're better off asking there as those guys are dedicated towards arcade preservation. Make the $2 donation so you can start posting.

There are guys that are dedicated to restores here too. But I would argue this place has a slight advantage when it comes to replica builds since the nature of most builds here are made from scratch. As well, he's looking for measurements and assembly info, which anyone can comment on. No need to shoo him away so quickly, PHU.

Do you have a line on the plastic molded parts around the bezel?

Thank you for the responses guys.  I have had a hard time logging on here over the last few days.
P.H.U. - I am a member over at klov, but I thought I would ask here first for same reason opt2not stated.
SlippyBlade - I have the bezel in hand.

Thanks again,
