IPac Ultimate 1P Down Not Working
« on: April 01, 2016, 09:24:40 am »
Hi All,

Sorry to trouble you. I have the above, and for some reason, the 1P Down pin isnt working. After breaking out the trusty old MultiMeter, I tested the continuity from joystick to groung (was fine), replaced the joystick and cables anyway and tested again, still not working. Tested the pin to ground at the board and found i am getting 5v on every other pin except this one. I get 1.444v at 1P Down. Any ideas what could cause this? I have tried a different USB port (scraping the barrel I know, but im pulling my hair out)

Many thanks

Maybe a bad pcb trace on that input? Try checking for continuity between the pin and the interface chip on the ipac/the next component it leads to.
