weird problem.
« on: January 15, 2004, 10:27:31 am »
hi.

i've just finished my keyboard-hack and i use happ supers and microswitch buttons.

i made it with switch diodes and it works perfect, no blocking, masking or ghosting...

but anyway.. i checked it thru Keyhook and all button work and it works perfect in windows and in Mamewah, i can scroll down the games and start them and whatever.. BUT when i start a game i cant move the up/down/left/right. nothing happens.. all other buttons work(shooting, jumping,so on) and up/down/left/right work perfect under keyhook/windows/mamewah.

so why shouldnt it work in mame? is there some kind of setting i have to make?

any help is appritiated.

Thanks alex

Sounds like everything but mame knows your switch settings. Start any game then press tab and then choose "input general" and then set-up your switch settings from there. That should work.
Curls in the squat rack !?!?!
