this can be confusing,
I've seen (and asked) this question before, but never gotten a clear response.
U/D/L/R connect as normal (like you said)
Previous responses say the 5v +/- connect up to your power source which can be:
the ipac (see the schematics).
Molex connector from the computer
or, (what I want to do, but haven't heard if this way will work or not)
a 5v transformer.
I keep getting confused as to if a ground is needed to connect up to the ipac again?
or how this is expected to work... Anyone actually do this? the reason I want to avoid the ipac's 5v is that I want to put 4 perfect360s on a control panel, and I'm worried about the draw through the ipac itself. I'd feel much better pulling this from either a transformer or a molex connector. exactly how it's wired back to the ipac (just the directions? a ground? if so, from where?)
