Carnevil- Arcade issue and simple ribbon cable question.
« on: March 11, 2016, 09:25:28 am »
Question I just received a non-dedicated Carnevil. After receiving it I plugged in turned on and all I had a was purple screen and no sound. I opened it up and noticed there was no ribbon cable going from the MB/PCB to the hard-drive. Now my noob-ness is very high and I should of had them start it when I was there before buying it.

Question is even though there was no hard-drive should I have had a bios/check screen?

Do they take a regular 40 pin ribbon cable?
I looked at the hard-drive it has the regular pin but the MB pins for the ribbon looked smaller.
