Question

Does everyone consider the trash can at Taco Bell as a possible source of arcade cab design cues, or is that just me?   :burgerking:

Looks more fun than the average lcd bartop.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Yes. I've seen builds with door handles on the front.
If you can read this, it means Photobucket's money grab ruined my signature photos.

Pfft.  The Taco Bell one doesn't even have a keyboard tray.

Haha! That looks way too similar to the trash can!

Form and function are too similar.

The funny thing is, I used to be a shift manager at a Taco Bell. I used to bring the controller off my MAME cabinet (it was detachable), my modified Hotrod controller, my portable NAOMI rig, my cabinet PC, and more for the Christmas party (employees and their families). I actually used a trash bin at one point (older model than the one shown above) as a surface to set one of the  controller and monitor setups (yes, I made sure it was clean first.)

Don't have a pic of the trashcan setup, but here's a pic of some employees and kids playing on my Naomi rig, up where people usually order (we closed early for the party.) This was Christmas Eve 2009.
