Mini Game Center V01 - What is it?
« on: January 13, 2004, 06:42:48 pm »
There's a strange arcade machine at a bar where I live.  It has 3 games on it: Ms Pac Man, Galaga, and Donkey Kong.  The cabinet is red, and it looks well made except for the marquee, which has clearly been printed on an inkjet printer.  The frontend shows "Mini Game Center V01" at the top of the screen, and at the bottom of the screen it says, "for amusement only".  Between the two lines of text, there are the pictures of the 3 games.  It doesn't look like any frontends I have seen.  It goes between that screen and attract modes of the different games.  Does anyone know what this machine is?

Might be a custom bootleg board. They are out there but hard to find.

Actually those boards are EASY to get. They just came out recently, search RGVAC, the supplier of them posts on there regularly, and YES they are bootleg.

One GOOD thing about those boards is that they support both standard res and VGA res monitors.
