The Cruis'n header is HUGE, like the size of (2) 25" monitors side-by-side.  I don't know what they typically go for, but I've heard that they can be pretty pricey.

I am anxious to know whether these sell......

I doubt they will sell for that. Crusin dual cabs go at my local auction for $1200-$1500 for working sitdowns with that marquee. 33% of the sell price for just a marquee is kinda rediculous. But if the right person comes along that happens to need that marquee it may be worth it to them...but the chances of that...

Not that its worth $400 but its more than just the marquee... Its the whole header.

The Virtua On was originally sold as a dual, as I believe... so you get HALF of the real "CABINET" for... 450$?? Notice that it didn't show the left hand side of the cabinet in those shots... Anyone want to guess why? Because there are no cabinet sideart on that side.

Did I mention that I got a fully functional Ridge Racer with a 33' monitor for 425$? Great cabs are around for less money than what those folks are selling that for. Why some people think putting something on EBAY increases the value to insane levels is beyond me.

Because it costs very little to try and often they do sell.

...and most people have NO idea where to buy an arcade machine locally (much less their value), where eBay is a world marketplace for strange and unusual items such as arcade machines.  ;)

When my neighbors first saw me starting to haul these cabs into my garage, most were amazed that someone could just go *buy* an arcade machine for home use.  First question always is "Where did you get that?", followed immediately by "How much do those things cost?  I'd like a Ms. Pac-Man for my basement."

eBay is actually how I met many of the arcade guys in my area.  I've only purchased local cabinets on eBay, and it is a great way to meet people who can hook you up with cheap used monitors, coin doors, etc when you are looking for them.

A little off topic but something that always amazes me is the amount of arcade games I see selling locally in my area that do not have the word arcade in the tittle or description at all.  I mean come on what are you selling here its an arcade machine with whatever game inside how can you go and sell an arcade machine and never even mention the fact that it is an arcade machine in the description it just blows my mind.  Now I always have to search for stuff words like , video, cabinet, coin door, and all kinds of other crazy stuff because who know what category these people put the stuff in.

I've managed to contact a few local guys via ebay as well. I do a search by my geographic region and then email the sellers asking what else they have for sale.

This particular seller must be nuts. I can't imagine anyone paying anything close to his opeing bids on this stuff.

I always like to search for local auctions on ebay.

To date I have gotten.

2 Monitors.
6 or 7 computers
1 Defender coin door.
Sprint One (minty, complete, boardset problem). $50
Force II pinball (was NW, now it sort of works, but not correctly). $150
Solitaire Challenge (MINT, had boardset problem, then later the monitor blew up, I used it for Mame). $50ish.
Also picked up a solid 9/10 dedicated Super Strike for a buddy for only $150.
