Tempest controls work ok for you in .78?
« on: January 13, 2004, 02:18:01 pm »
I upgraded to .78 from .68 a couple weeks ago.  Last night I thought I would have a go at Tempest for old times sake.  I loaded it up and found that my trackball was not controlling it well.  I paused it and went into the menu to maybe dial up or down the sensitivity, and I found the keys were doing all kinds of wacky things.  Like I would hit the up arrow and it would scroll the cursor up several spaces, or sometimes no spaces.  I would hit enter and the num-lock light on the keyboard would start flashing on and off.  It seems as if Tempest was seeing multiple different key presses instead of just 1.  I tried several other games and they still worked fine, and I also changed control configs on several other games and that worked fine in there too.  No shenanigans except in Tempest.
