sega rally 2 pc - with steering wheel - driving force gt
« on: February 06, 2016, 03:37:35 pm »
Any one got the PC version working with awheel?

I can see the wheel within the launcher, although I can not map the steering axis. Also when selecting the accelerator brake/ it sometimes presses axis +, without doing anything and then i cant map anything.

buttons all work fine, tried combined pedals/ on off.

weirdest thing is, even if i just map buttons, none every work with driving force gt, yet it picks up my other joystick controller fine....

Seems like some people have successfully mapped it, as i've seen youtube videos and forum posts. But ive also seen a lot of posts like mine, with no answers. what's the trick ? :)

Been a while since I messed with it, but do you have more than one controller connected?  Also these old games need the pedals combined.  They were expected to be played with an old school PC analog joystick which only had 2 axis.  (left/right for steer, forward for gas, backward for brake)

A lot of the time they won't accept the higher numbered buttons on your controller either because controllers at the time just didn't have that many buttons.

Yeah i have another joystick controller, but i am selecting the gt.
Buttons map okay, although the other issue is that they don't work in game.
