I don't know if you guys are into fighting games, but I was looking at this year's lineup and it seems to be rather interesting the kind of games they intended to list for this year.
-Ultra Street Fighter IV being replaced by Street Fighter V, yet it's still in beta and IV hasn't even had a full year to itself.
-Tekken 7 replacing Tag 2, but it's only available in a few select locations that still have arcades.
-TWO VERSIONS of Super Smash Bros. (MEGA Facepalm!)
-Guilty Gear Xrd: Relevator still arcade only.
-Pokken Tournament, which is some kinda casual game I don't know @#$% about.
Currently I think this lineup is plenty goofed. The standard routine is for these games to have at least 1 year to themselves in the general public, but those titles being arcade only and only releasing around or after EVO really makes this seem like a joke to anyone who wants to get into it, plus SFV is in development, thrown up to appease some sort of marketing ploy for Capcom and their shareholders. I really do not know what to think about this year, but I'm hoping at least many of the titles that have been held as standard will still get some play on the side, if not draw more focus to it. If lucky, they'll still have some sponsorship. (Looking at you Madcatz)
At least Mortal Kombat is back in. God knows how much this series has been looked down on like a little red-headed bastard step child by these communities.
