Pelican Stick to DC

hey everyone,
i already read over the other topics having to do with the universal stick, but i was wondering if there is any possible way to connect it to the dc. I want know this because my whole intention to get this was so it could work with my gamecube and my dreamcast for mvc2 and 3s. I was thinking would a xbox to ps2 adaptor then a ps2 to dc adaptor work. Seeing as how someone on this board said that the xbox to usb worked fine for a pc and was also using the universal stick. Any help would be appreciated thanks.
