Ultimarc gun problems

So with hardly any use, I'm now having problems with my Ultimarc gun and sensor.  The computer doesn't detect either of these (no new hardware connection beep/driver loading for either device). I've swapped out to a new pc, and still no new-hardware detection.
Any ideas? I assume both devices should show up as usb devices and make the beep when I plug them in, shouldn't they? Wife's a bit frustrated that she gave me the gun as a gift and with very little play time they're already not working.

The LED bar only takes power from USB and does not show as a device.

The gun should though. It should show as a mouse and game controller.

Best way forward would be to drop me an email at andy@ultimarc.com and we can see what can be done.

Thanks again, Andy. As I emailed you, the USB cable had pulled from the circuit board just enough to stop making contact. Wife is pleased that it's still working, and that's what it's all about!
