Jamma Power Supply Power Cable Help Please

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone can send me clear image instructions on how to power up the Jamma Power Supply that comes with the 60 in 1 board, I recently purchased one and just realized there is no cable to power up the power supply box that comes with it.

Can anyone tell me if possible with a clear picture which cables go on the FG, AC & AC screws areas ? As you see J have already connected the 12v, 5v and Ground

I saw s YouTube video and noticed someone used a computer power supply but not sure how He did it, he doesn't exactly explain which wires he used.

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Standard US AC power wiring colors.

FG = Frame Ground = Green wire
AC/N = AC Neutral = White wire
AC/L = AC Live (a.k.a. Hot) = Black wire

Any 3-conductor power cable will do the trick as long as it's in good shape (no abrasion, corrosion, etc.) and can handle the current draw.

The 60 in 1 draws so little power that you won't be able to find a power cord for the power supply that can't handle the current draw.

Success! got it on!  I wire buttons and joystick, but when I powered it on, I got the test screen and it says:  Test : Next

Whats did you do next when you set it up?

Nevermind the previous question, I was able to set it up. One thing I don't understand, I had to unplugged it, to ground my joystick, but when I powered it back on, It went right to the Games menu, and I'm able to play any of the games, I guess it either came already set up or it set up itself?? not sure, I guess I'll keep looking for better instructions, the instructions that came are not 100% clear in my opinion.

You can set one of the dip switches to get into test mode (set the switch before powering the board), or you can press and hold the Test button (if you have one wired up) when you power on.

Yes, the small blue block with 4 tiny white switches on it. Set switch 4 to the ON position (before powering the board) to get into Test mode; Set it to OFF for normal game menu mode.

Can you tell me exactly what does the System DIPSW Set up means? I see for each game for numbers 1-8 is set to OFF in red, does that mean that game is disable? Do I have to go through all games and set this to " on " in order to play?

I'mm looking in youtube, maybe I'll find the answer before you reply but I appreciate your help in advance, thank you.

The menu DIPSW settings simulate the dip switches that were on the actual original arcade game PCBs, and let you set things like number of lives and difficulty level, for each game. You can also disable games that you don't want to appear in the game selection menu, but all games are enabled by default, so you should be able to select and play all of them from the main menu.
