Galaxian Restore: Help
« on: January 16, 2016, 08:45:53 pm »
Hello everyone, I am in desperate need of some Galaxian help. I am in the process of attempting a conversion from Galaga back to an original Galaxian. However, the conversion was quite interesting with jumpers from here to there...and everywhere. I am trying to follow the wiring schematic in the manual, but that is of little help at this point. I do not have a terminal strip with the 400 v diode as shown in the manual, but I am also running a switcher instead of the original PS. I still have the isolation transformer of course, but I am basically building this from scratch with a new harness from Bob. Is this terminal strip and 400v diode necessary with the switcher? Does anyone have any advice for what needs to be fused? This is my first real conversion of this magnitude, and I definitely need some assistance with it.
