Opinions on the Universal stick (E-Stik)
« on: January 11, 2004, 02:58:36 pm »
This stick is very popular in my country. Most of the standard cabinets I've seen in bars etc mounted this kind of stick. I don't know if this is one of the main reasons that I like it. I tested it some time ago and I liked it. Its throw is short enough, you don't feel the corners, the stick is small, and the spring is not weak nor very stiff. I find it very confortable and precise (I could not say if it's as precise as the T-stick but it's definitelly better than the J-stick and much better than Happs Supers). The games I've tested are mainly platform games and shooters. Now, what are the opinions about this stick from experts players of fighters games and shoot'em ups? Do you users of this stick are satisfied? Can you perform those difficult combos with it? Do you find it as precisse as a T-stick for maniac shmups? I plan it on building another CP and this model is a serious candidate, but I'd like to know your opinions first.
