Curious,Has anyone used one of these yet for a marquee?http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/28-inch-special-size-bar-lcd_1108706228.html?spm=a2700.7724858.35.1.Fj9rd0Looks to be the ideal size...Thanks!Dan
Do you think it would be a cool idea to pair one of these up with a Raspberry Pi and a smaller touchscreen lcd?
They are actually too wide. Most cabinets have a marquee area 23"-25" wide and the casing on these is over 29" wide. It will unfortunately never look integrated unless you swerve far from the usual cabinet designs.Quote from: Madman on November 30, 2015, 05:38:46 pmCurious,Has anyone used one of these yet for a marquee?http://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/28-inch-special-size-bar-lcd_1108706228.html?spm=a2700.7724858.35.1.Fj9rd0Looks to be the ideal size...Thanks!Dan
Looked at the link. That doesn't appear to take any video input like VGA or HDMI - rather, it seems to play files off a SD card or USB drive. So it's great for digital signage, but not what I think you want it to do.
...As far as the pricing goes I send them an email... we will see....

Definitely post up some pics when you get it setup! My original cab might actually be wide enough for one of these but I don't know if it's worth the money, but damn they are sweet!
