X Arcade Joystick Hole Size?
« on: November 30, 2015, 12:28:54 pm »
Got the DIY X Arcade kit, and I know the Buttons are 1 1/8" in size, but is the Joystick Hole the same size? Thanks

Close enough.  I've always just used a button hole to mount joysticks, including the X-Arcade ones.

Joystick holes can be 1" depending on application, but I always just go with the 1 1/8" anyway, even when the 1" would work.
Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

It really depends on whether you're working with wood or metal. Wood joysticks usually have a longer throw, so require the bigger hole. 1-1/8"
