Wiring novagemcdr to pc molex?
« on: November 26, 2015, 02:14:49 am »
I'm trying to wire up some novagemcdr's to my pc's power supply. The directions say there is a red and black wire, this is false. One wire is grey and the other is  red/green/white. Doing a search revealed that the wire with the resister should be connected to ground. Unfortunately the wires are covered in wrap and I can't tell what wire has the resister?

Any help?

Also if I wire them to the same molex connector will two Novagemcdr's get full power or half?

So I removed the wrap and the grey wire had the resister on it. I hooked it up to ground and the other to 5v red on the molex. I hooked both up to the same molex connector and all is good!

These things are freaken bright! Too bright!
