This amp gets very good reviews and I've seen pics of some where people have removed and relocated the board.
The enclosure looks a little bulky but the amp itself is not.

I've used one of the ones Phreakwars posted and was pretty happy with it.  5V power for this one and requires a little soldering.

I've also used a similar 12V powered version that is only a few bucks more and I liked it better, more output, easier hookup.

Both probably pretty much teh save thing as what you linked to.

The price point probably makes this question unnecessary, but I just want to be sure on where people are coming from.

Are these suggestions based on trying to recreate the sounds of an 80s arcade cabinet as much as possible?  Personally I would be looking for very different audio set-ups if I were trying to recreate the sound of Shakey's pizza vs a cabinet that doubles as a jukebox.

It's for a Jamma XXX-in-one. I think I'll probably go with the 12v one BorgDog posted. Will give it a till the weekend to see if I find one

I like better.

Thanks for the help guys. Keep them coming.

I bought 2 of these:

D

I looked at that one also, but went with the one I did because of where the audio input is.  I mounted mine with the volume knob through the cab and would have had no way to hook the audio input in.  Now if you wanted an external audio input for an ipod or something that one may be the way to go.
