A few CD Walmount jukebox questions please
« on: November 14, 2015, 07:39:00 am »
Hey guys, I want to advise a friend of mine on a jukebox for his basement, he's not much of a computer guy so i am thinking of advising him on getting a wall mounted cd box like an NSM model which holds 100 cd's. I am thinking I could make a custom stand for it so he can move out into the hard during the summer months and simply connect to his powered 15" speaker. Please let me itemize my questions to keep this thread short?

1] I am guessing this type of jukebox will have an Audio Output jack on the back of it  to which I can simply plug in to connect the 15" powered speaker, is this correct?

2] Do these type of boxes have a compressor limiter to normalize the volume of each tune? Reason asking is I would need to make custom cd's for him with his fav tunes so it's not like he can use commercial cd's which have constant volume and frequency levels. Best I can do is use mp3 gain to normalize the volume of each cd I create for him.

3] What's the max amount of tunes I can list on each cd?

4] I have beatmatched cd's with continuos music so no gaps in between the tunes so technically one cd will last for 60-90 minutes, would that work in this box due to the cd's length?

5] Would I be able to make the tunes listing of each cd myself and add a custom art cover?

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
