I'd ditch the LED lights for better marquee artwork. Then backlight the marquee if it isn't already.

I'd maybe dim it down a little. Do you have lights up the back (to light up the wall it's up against) as well?

Also, if the lights changed color to whatever the major screen color is at the time, or whatever the major color of the running games artwork is, that could be interesting.

That's rather mean of you to include one for player 1 but not for player 2.

I am not opposed to LEDs, but it should fit the cabinet. Your cab has a retro feel, and the floor light is distracting, IMO.

It's kind of like adding LED ground lights on an original VW Beetle.

I agree with Token.  However, if you toned the light brightness down many notches, maybe match cab colors, it might just be a tasty mix of old and new

If you want to add lights, buttons would be better than a ground effects package.

The woodgrain esp smacks of old school and LED's aren't really very old school.

Maybe a faint brown or orangy glow...

At the very least, dim the light down to a much more subtle level.


But, as already said, the ground light doesn't really go with the style of your cab,
Especially considering you have no other lighting such as lit buttons or even a lit marquee

i agree with the general.. It looks ok, but doesnt belong. My analogy would be like putting spinners on mini vans in the mid 2000's lol.
