Hello mtnchips,

You will have to let me have your name.

The lid on the CTI-1SC was not as good as the CTI-1 is was basically a chipboard sheet covered in a vineer and it had a picture on the inside in a thin frame.

I suggest you get sheet of contiboard and suitable edging  and make one up. The original had slightly rounded corners all round and the picture was a rural scene of a few trees and fields, you could place any blown up picture in here. My advice would be include an inset leathercloth on the top of the lid.

Regards
Alan

HI Alan,

Ok thanks for the advice. A couple guys just put cti-2 s on ebay but the lids are too small and one of them says that if he comes across one he will let me know. Where are you located again. Id put a question mark at the end but my shift button doesnt work.

    Thanks again
         Bob

Hi Bob,

The CTI-2 is totally unsuitable because it includes speakers in the lid and is ment to be fixed upright by brackets fixed on the back, it is only laid down for transportation.
One of these might be an option however, but it is a good 5 inches shorter in width.

The CTI-1SC is 52 3/4 inches wide and 25 inches deep
The CTI-2 is 47 1/4 wide and 20 1/4 deep ( the lid does not fall all the way on the 27 inch deep jukebox).

Hi Bob the CTI-3 is the same cabinet size as the CTI-2.
The only difference is that it was fitted with a conventional keyboard and the amp had the square and oblong molex plugs (same as the 130 watt amplifiers) rather than the round molex plugs fitted to the earlier 125 Watt amplifiers.

Hi Bob,

The boards are identical in the CTI-2 & CTI-3, the keyboards would have been revised in the CTI-3.
