"Shift" recommendations
« on: November 05, 2015, 07:24:51 pm »
I'm now looking to create some different shift functions via my Ultimate I/O, and wanted to get recommendations on good usage scenarios for a cabinet as the cabinet is now essentially assembled.  What buttons do you recommend for a shift (I'm currently using P1 button 1) and what buttons should I avoid assigning a shift to to avoid in-game problems?

To keep guests or children from accidently messing up their cab configuration, many individuals choose to not include a Menu (Tab) button and disable the shifted function for Menu. (P1 Start + joystick right on I-Pac)

Thanks Scott - I have those, I'm thinking more along the lines of more specific administrative tasks (ex. enable/disable second display), etc.
