happs trackball
« on: January 08, 2004, 05:39:19 pm »
i was searching the forum for this but i cant find anything so i'll just ask..

i bought a brand new happs trackball (2-1/4") and used a mouse interface. it works great but the only thing is that it feels like the balls is slippery..
when i spin it fast it doesnt roll the encoder wheels cause it slipps on the x/y rolling pieces. (the one that spin to the encoder wheel on the trackball)

(and it has nothing to do with the fact that is a mouse interface or anything.)

ps. i dont have a mounting plate yet but i'll get one in a couple of days.. is there a way to tighten it or something to make it better? or is it supposed to be like that?
