JLF installing cherry switches.
« on: October 22, 2015, 10:38:29 pm »
Ordered a new led JLF from paradise..... I wondered why it felt way better than my other jlf.

The paradise JLF has cherry switches which I now need to install on my other pcb JLF.
I was told in another thread (cant find it now) that I can just remove the pcb and drop in cherry switches.

Paradise sells a kit.... 4 cherry switches, plus a harness.
My led paradise JLF came with this harness.

I just dont understand what the harness is for or what it plugs in to.... I planned on running all my own input and led wires so do I even need this harness?

You plug all the .187 DC's from the harness to the switches but whats the pin end for? incase you just had your cab wired for that, or does the pins have to plug back into the stick.... im away from my cab so cant examine mine

Id just ask paradise but susan got tired of answering my questions it seems lol :dunno

nevermind ....I get it now.

When originally installing a jlf, you splice in the jlf harness to plug into the stick.
If you do this upgrade U need this harness to plug back into the jlf harness that used to just plug into the pcb of the stick.

So since im wiring right to the switches -I wont need it....right?
