What game is this?

Not sure if this game is already emulated by mame and I don't know about it but here goes....

It is like a very cheap Commando/Ikari Warrios type game made for the Atari, but it was an arcade game.  The controls, I believe are a spinner and joystick.  I know there is a spinner control because the soldier character holds out his gun(with a stance kind of like an "egyptian" stance) and the spinner rotates the gun, very awkwardly, in a full 360 degree motion in the soldier's hand. It was pretty funny looking.  There may have been like at most 4 or 8 colors.  I think the soldier had a blue colored body and  maybe red helmet or something.  The controls were definitly not a rotary joystick, it was at least a spinner and an 8-way (maybe 4-way) joystick.  Any ideas?

Gun Fight and Boot Hill come to mind. Both are monochrome games.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

Are you sure the game had a spinner and not an 8-way pushbutton dial like this:

:oHoly Crap!!! :o  It is FRONTLINE!!!  You just made two people the happiest men of the hour!!  It was so frustrating trying to figure out what this game was.  And I stand corrected, it wasn't a spinner, it was an 8 Position switch rotary control!  You guys are !@#$in awesome!  Thanks a whole lot!!!!!  ;D;D;D;D;D Another game bugged me but I found out that it was Galaxy Ranger (only on Daphne) and now my arcade childhood experience has been preserved completely!!!  Much love to all of you!!!!
