I may buy local once I get the dough.  Too many projects on my plate at the moment though, so I need to hold off for now.

I recall modding my original Xbox years ago with the Xecuter 3 chip.  I was seriously into it and had the programmer and everything.  LOL.  But now... No time.  So quick question:  Do you use hot glue to secure the solder points and wiring?

I dont use hotglue for any of this. good solder joints never need hot glue. just use thin wires.

bump..have 4 slims left and one black elite(jasper chipset newest phat model wont die). the black elite has a 120gb hard drive, jtag/rgh1(instant boot mostly..sometimes few seconds), comes with power brick for 120 shipped. pic in the middle.

controller for sale too $20 extra. like new still has the sticker. no one used it but its been sitting here for a while.

I have one phat jasper chipset jtag/rgh console(newest model wont red ring) with 20gb hard drive, tv cable, power brick for 120 shipped. some kind of trade might work too if you are in NYC. I am looking for a  2 player control panel for my brother. has to be like 25-30" wide for comfortable 2player setting.
