RGB LED Admin Buttons question
« on: September 11, 2015, 03:51:57 pm »
When using ledblinky to light up games to the original color, are player start/coin always just white/on?

I am planning my panel right now which will be extensive and have RGB led controls all around.  I will be using the ipac uio which has 96 led inputs.  Right now I am looking at P1-4 game controls using 78 total led inputs leaving 18 open.  I will have a 4 player coin door with red/yellow/green/blue eject buttons, but will also have a coin button next to player button on the panel (probably wire a switch to disable the panel button if I want).

I am looking for opinions on making p1-4 coin/start buttons as single LED buttons or RGB.  If I go RGB I would have to purchase an additional pacdrive controller.  Either way I can still make start/pause/enter use RGBs.

I don't see the need to light the coin/start/admin buttons. But, if you are going to, then you'd need to decide if you want them to be able to change their color (RBG) or not.
