arcadevga and fastvid

I used to have a trident t64 and bit the bullet for a arcadevga. I have been really impressed. However, I used to use fastvid for a dramatic speed increase with the trident. Cant seem to find the right settings for the arcadevga. Im using dos and a celeron 700 in one machine and dos and a athlon 2200 in the other. Is fastvid still needed? If so what settings are you using for the arcadevga card?
