CP is finally working!  Just one last component to go!  I have 2 Happ rotary joysticks and the Ultimarc rotary interface.

In theory, I should be able plug it in and at least get the keyboard presses ([] & /\) in Notepad when I rotate the joystick.  So far that's not happening.  And no response of course in Victory Road or Ikari Warriors (which are the reason I got the rotary joysticks).

I feel like I'm missing something obvious.

Do you have the connectors turned so the purple wire from the center pin of the rotary switch is on pin 1?

Ignore the LS-30 part of this pic.

EDIT: Fixed image.  P2 Pin 1 is next to the USB connector.

I assuming you are using Mame, then you need to change the mapping in Mame (Tab menu) for player one and player two to be the [] and /\ keys. Also you want to set the positional delay to 0 and the positional sensitivity to 100.

THANK YOU!  I had it on backwards.  It actually fits very awkwardly the correct way so I just put in on wrong.  Feel like an idiot, but oh well!!
