What kind of monitor are you wiring in?

As already said,
It's important to know what type of monitor.
If you're just powering an lcd, grab the 110v that's powers your arcade PSU and you can tap off to an outlet or cut the end off the power cord and splice it.

If you are using an old arcade monitor like a wg4600, 4900, sanyo 20ez or similar, you will need to use an isolation transformer.
There are some newer and later model arcade CRTs that don't require an ISO transformer but if in doubt, it's best to use one.

So it's an lcd with the power supply built in and you need to get 120 vac to it?

If you have an arcade Psu fed by 120vac, just jump off that and add an outlet in the machine and if your monitor into it.

There are CRTs with the same plug...
Some arcade monitors have, as described, "a lead" coming off the back of the monitor chassis that is a 3 pin plug...
The OP is extremely vague in his descriptions, but don't worry, the magical internet people can figure it all out no problem... WTF.

One other thing, the power to the monitor has nothing to do with the JAMMA harness. FYI.

Dude, why are you ignoring all the requests for info here?  There are plenty of folks who could give you a direct answer to your question, probably with links to images and directions to do it, IF they knew what you have.  Model numbers?  Type of monitor?  Couple of pics?

You've taken the time to come on and say where you're from but you haven't answered the questions that need to be answered in order to answer your question.
If you have an old school arcade monitor and you hook it up right to mains power, you may end up blowing your monitor.
Some simple info will help you

Well, if it is an old CRT monitor and he doesn't use an isolation transformer to power it (as already mentioned), this will end badly.

as I said a few posts above,
first off you wont actually be powering the monitor off that power supply but you will want to hook up the mains power to the ac terminals at the bottom of the power supply and then from there run a connection to an outlet installed in a proper outlet box and just plug the monitor into it.

are you using an arcade board that has vga out for that monitor

yes has a vga out. how come you cant jump on the power in to power supply. why the separate outlet box?

Well you could cut the plug end off, strip back and terminate the wires right to the AC terms on the power supply if you'd like.

Nice thing about having the outlet is if the monitor crisps out and you replace it with a different model that uses a different power brick, it's easy to unplug and plug

whats the cheapest and easiest way to light up the headboard? can I join on to the 12 volt power supply? can I ground on any black wire or do I have to go back to power supply?

Colors of wire don't mean ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- if they're not hooked up right. Headboard? What size bed are you working on?

By headboard, are you talking about the marquee
Do you already have a light for it?

For lighting marquees, I like using cheap under cabinet lighting fixtures.

You just have to get your mains power up to it and plug or splice it in.

There are also 12 volt LED lights available. Many ways to do it.

These have worked for me really well.  They come with a molex connector (you can simply plug it into the PC's power supply if you are using a PC).  Or simply cut the connector off and screw it into your switching power supply that you have (12v and ground).
